As part of the Merchandise Finance team, the Sr Merchandise Finance Analyst will support the Lead Merchandise Finance Analyst and Director of Forecasting and Budgeting through the development of detailed annual budgets and in year forecasts of merchandise sales and profitability. This includes analyzing trends, collaborating with stakeholders, and presenting insights to management.
Responsibilities:

  • Financial planning, forecasting and analyses of merchandise sales and profitability
  • Regularly communicate with senior management presenting forecasts and recommendations based on extensive business trend analysis.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with cross functional partners across merchandising, logistics, accounting, and others to ensure all relevant impacts are included in forecasts.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute timely company-wide reporting summarizing mid-month, month/quarter/year-end sales, and merchandise profitability performance
  • Utilize Tableau dashboards and analytical tools to identify and present business findings.
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analyses as requested by senior leadership
Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • 3 - 5 years finance, forecasting or merchandising experience. Retail experience a plus
  • Strong analytical ability and orientation to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Exposure to SAP and Tableau a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Dynamic and self-motivated
  • Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
