Residential Family Partners Mon - Fri, 3:00-11:00 pm and 5:00-10:00 pm (East Boston)
St. Mary's Center believes shelter is not enough to erase the devastation of cyclical poverty and homelessness. Grounded in social justice, we empower families to achieve emotional stability and economic independence through education, workforce development, and permanent housing.
We are hiring for Residential Family Partners to assist and provide a safe living environment for our families while ensuring advocacy and referral services. Family Partners work directly with our clients and provide basic counseling skills of active listening and employee to develop our families’ capacities, build strong relationships, and serve as a positive role model nurturing interactions with clients and follow program guidelines for dress and behavior.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in related human service field preferred
- 1-year comparable experience in human services required; 1-year related experience in residential and human services preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
The following Full-Time and Part-Time schedules are available in East Boston, MA:
- Monday-Friday, 3:00-11:00 pm
- Monday-Friday, 5:00-10:00 pm
