Photography Counselor
Camp Encore/Coda, a music and sports camp in Maine, is looking to hire counselors who are also photographers. Come spend your summers in an incredibly beautiful and musical environment!
First and foremost, this is a cabin-counselor position. The candidate will live in bunks with campers and spread joy and enthusiasm to their campers every day! Our counselors' typical age is undergraduate, though we occasionally have a counselor in their early graduate years.
We aim to have a team of 2 counselor photographers responsible for documenting our summer. During the day, the counselors will travel around to our various activities and musical ensembles to take photos, and spend their time in our office organizing the photos, collaborating with the blog writer, and checking in with me and our shot lists. We also shoot and video our frequent concerts in the evening.
Working at our camp makes for an incredible summer. Counselors often make friends and memories that last a lifetime, and the opportunity to hone their photo skills in a supportive environment is invaluable! This is a music camp, so they are welcome to participate in some musical activities if they are also musicians.
Dates: June 20 - August 15. Salary is based on year in school, room and board provided.
