Data Science Intern
Gro Intelligence provides data and analytics at the intersection of agriculture, climate, and the economy. We're currently looking to hire an intern for this upcoming summer to work in our Data Science department.
What you can expect to work on:
Accepted candidates can expect to work on data science with regard to food and climate security.
A couple example projects:
- Use remote and proximal weather data to identify domestic risk to food supply
- Build a dynamical model of global trade to simulate the effects of various kinds of shocks
Who we are looking for:
- Strong Python background
- An exceptional graduate student in a discipline with exposure to agriculture, climate science, statistics, applied mathematics, or data science
- Ability to work from our New York office
