Environmental Health & Safety Analyst

As the Environmental Safety/Security Analyst, You Will:

  • Lead safety programs for salaried office staff & labs
  • Actively partner with organization and business leaders to establish strategies and grow an effective safety culture
  • Drive development, implementation, and sustainment of EHS programs
  • Coordinate safety training and all vital content development
  • Capture EHS data input, tracking, and analysis
  • Frequently interact with others in the organization as the EHS knowledge center, offering mentorship and suggestions for sustained improvement.
  • Hold responsibility for Safety Information, Job Hazard Assessments. and Ergonomic Assessments
  • Own Safety Systems working as the auditor, and enforcer including inspecting equipment for accident-preventing devices (Lockout, Tag-out)
  • Assist in developing and supporting an emergency response, zone leader, and first aid program
  • Lead and drive engagement and energy on environmental and safety programs
  • Support and handle compliance with Environmental programs (Hazardous Waste, Stormwater, Air Permitting)

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health, Safety Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety or related field AND co-op experience OR equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and on a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with various levels of the organization and professional presentation skills.
  • Showed strength in the Microsoft Office Suite including utilization of pivot tables and formulas to analyze data
  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Four (4) years of Safety experience and co-op experience will be considered
  • Base knowledge of OSHA & RCRA
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is helpful
  • Facilities management experience
  • Geographically mobile for future advancement opportunities

Flexible Work Schedule – Remote Work Option and Core Hours
This role has the flexibility of a remote work option a handful amount of times per month after being fully onboarded and trained. It also has a core hour work schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.
