Primary Function of Position:
At Intuitive, we are committed to providing an inclusive environment that fosters a sense of belonging for every employee.
We are seeking a sophomore level undergraduate to intern on our team.
With direction from the Director of Inclusion and Diversity (I&D), the Inclusion and Diversity Intern will collaborate with fellow I&D teammates to support I&D related projects, events and activities. A key deliverable includes conducting research and a compilating a report on external industry engagement activities related to employee experience, engagement and I&D.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Support I&D programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Research, document and compile a report on external industry engagement activities related to employee experience, engagement and I&D.
  • Support I&D education programing (scheduling and reports).
  • Support I&D events including ERG activities.
  • Ensure all resources shared are meaningful, accessible, and relevant.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and share best practices relevant to I&D thought leadership.
  • Support additional projects, as needed.

University Hiring Program Eligibility Requirements:
  • University Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degree-seeking academic program in the Fall.
  • Internship Work Period: Must be available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) during a 10-12 week period starting May or June. Specific start dates are shared during the recruiting process.
Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:
  • Current enrollment in a Human Resources, Social Justice, Marketing/Communications, or a related degree-seeking program at the Bachelor’s level
  • A strong interest in creating and developing safe, equitable and inclusive spaces.
  • An understanding, awareness and sensitivity to the experiences of individuals who have been historically marginalized.
  • Proficient with data and crafting insights from it.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and active listener.
  • Able to meet time-sensitive timeframes when necessary.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. In highest cost-of-labor areas the pay rate for this position is $25 to $47; the pay rate in the majority of the US is $21 to $40. It may not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including relevant skills and experience for this particular internship, degree-seeking academic program (PhD, Master’s, Bachelor’s, etc), year in school, and location.
