As a Clinical Research IS System Administrator you will coordinate and facilitates MLH Clinical Research Center information technology related projects. Supports processes related to clinical trial operations, population health research and clinical research finance. The System Administrator will apply knowledge, expertise, sound judgment and consult other references and resources as necessary to generate and evaluate solutions and recommendations. Establishes productive, cooperative relationships with peers, leaders, and stakeholders both internal and external to the organization.

Position: Clinical Research IS System Administrator
Shift: Day Shift
Essential Job Responsibilities
Maintains the Clinical Research Center’s clinical trials management system, including enterprise and site instances. Liaises with the vendor to prepare for, test and troubleshoot system upgrades, modify the user experience, and implement additional functionalities. Supports research teams and the research business office in establishing processes related to data entry, data reporting and analysis
Supports MLH researchers with REDCap project development and implementation. Provides technical expertise regarding all aspects of REDCap. Supports the Population Health research program’s biostatistics core with data extractions from REDCap.
Project management of a partnership with a real world evidence data company(ies) to support the process of matching potential participants to available clinical trials. Collaborate closely with partners across multiple departments to establish workflows and liaise with vendor(s) to prepare for, test and troubleshoot system upgrades, modify the user experience, and implement additional functionalities.
Acts as a primary technical contact for MLH users for any issues with the supported applications.
Serves as the access gatekeeper for supported applications. May include assignment of external users for designated multi-center clinical trials. Establishes and revokes user accounts.
Trains users. Creates and maintains manual of procedures and other educational materials for supported applications.
Experience:
3-5 years in electronic data systems. Proficiency in implementing complex software programs and updates. REDCap experience required.
Project management experience preferred.
Clinical research experience preferred.
Education:
BA/BS required
