Position Summary
The Data Reporting Manager provides systems support for the CareerCompass program including collecting, analyzing and reporting data from multiple data for program requirements. The position conducts on-going quality assurance of data and develops processes for effective and improved reporting. The Data Reporting Manager also assists with initial onboarding to HRA and NADAP databases to ensure uniformity of training and expectations for data entry in collaboration with management. This position also oversees the administrative support functions for the CareerCompass Program.

Responsibilities


• Interpret data, analyze large datasets, and provide reports on a wide range of subjects. Knowledgeable in descriptive and predictive statistics, including regression and bell curve. Identify trends, develop and implement new systems to improve CareerCom pass operations and reporting functions.
• Employ strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with accuracy in areas of clients referral outcomes, quality and productivity. Work with all levels of management to ensure the flow of documentation/reports is correct and timely, processed weekly, monthly as needed .
• Supervise the administrative support staff and conduct regular meetings to review performance and provide feedback. Motivate staff. Hire, and train administrative staff to assure all functions run smoothly and efficiently.
• Create data dashboards, reports, and visualizations to highlight trends and enhance reporting to the management team, HRA and other audiences as requested. Prioritize business needs based on this information.
• Oversee the collection, analysis and distribution of CareerCompass reporting, data and milestones. Submit statistical reporting to staff, supervisors, senior management, and the program funders.
• Seek out and acquire data sources and brainstorm strategies on optimizing efficiency for client services using programmatic data. Handle queries and present their findings to audiences. Evaluate and research all aggregate milestones claims for accuracy and review any discrepancies. Communicate findings to the Assistant Director and Director.
• Attend managements meeting with NADAP, HRA and other audiences as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree required; Criteria that would be desirable but not required: Major in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or other related field.
3 Years of relevant experience 
-Knowledge of HRA's, NYCWay, DTS or other electronic data systems is helpful. Experience in analyzing data from various systems is required.
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
-Knowledge of various descriptive and predictive statistics including, but not limited to regression and bell curve and other essential analysis techniques.
-Excellent MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Math skills.
-Strong critical thinking and superior attention to detail.
-1 year of supervisory experience is required.
