General Job Description: This is advanced training level real property appraisal, assessment and analysis work. Employees in this class learn to use a variety of appraisal approaches, methods and techniques used to estimate the fair market value of residential, commercial, industrial, mixed-use, vacant land, institutional, or exempt properties in accordance with laws, ordinances and assessment industry standards.
The Requirements are as follows:
Education: Requirements can consist of having a bachelor’s degree, Certified Pennsylvania Evaluator certification, twelfth school grade
Experience: Requirements can consist of experience as a licensed real estate broker or salesperson, experience appraising real property as a licensed appraiser and assessing real property for a government agency
