Lottery Drawing Officer
The State of Connecticut, Department of Consumer Protection (DCP), Gaming Division is currently accepting applications for a part-time Lottery Drawing Officer to support the regulation of legalized lottery drawing activities within the State of Connecticut.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
- Location: 450 Columbus Boulevard, Hartford
- Part Time: 20 hours per week or more with each scheduled shift lasting 4 or more hours
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be available for all assigned shifts and are required to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends on a rotating basis
- Incumbents must possess an operable motor vehicle and valid driver's license. Please list your valid and current licenses on your application in the “Licenses and Certifications” section of your application.
- Travel is required between drawing locations for assignments, including during inclement weather conditions
THE ROLE
Lottery Drawing Officers will work to ensure compliance with agency policy, procedures, and security regulations while monitoring lottery drawing activities and by providing information and assistance to licensees, the public and employees. Lottery Drawing Officers may work collaboratively with other officers within the Gaming Division in support of monitoring lottery drawing activities.
