Associate Data Engineer
Brooksource is searching for an Associate Data Engineer to join American Family Insurance’s Data Platform Team through our April 2023 Elevate Program. Your central focus will be to move data from legacy source systems into Google Cloud Platform (GCP), using SQL to retrieve the data and Python to write in GCP.
In this role, you will be part of a 4-person Elevate Class within American Family Insurance’s Data Platform Teams. As an Elevate member, you are given professional mentorship and personalized technical training through the first 12 months with American Family Insurance. 1-2 hours of each work week is dedicated to your continued training, grow your contribution within the Data Platform Team and upward potential within a growing IT Organization.

· 6-12 months of experience using SQL to retrieve data
· 6-12 months of experience using Python
· Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
· AWS or GCP Cloud Experience Preferred
Location: Sun Prairie, WI
Hybrid: remote/on-site hybrid, (2-3 days on-site per week)
Start: April 2023
Pay: $30-$39/hr ($62k-$80k annually), based on location & expected contribution
