Summer Intern, Chemistry

· The candidate in this position will report to the Senior Principal Scientist, in the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Center of Excellence.

· The candidate will be trained and involved in the testing and analysis of body-worn drug delivery devices as it relates to biocompatibility and safety to the patient.

· Follow safety guidelines

· Maintain electronic and/or paper notebooks

· May author/establish test procedures in chemistry lab

· Use LC-UV-MS to analyze insulin, related substance, and preservative during the in-use study of Omnipods.

· Currently pursuing a BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related degree

· Ability to follow direction

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint a plus)
