Human Resources Data Analyst Summer Internship 2024 (Requisition #1119)

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory has internship opportunities for college students to spend the summer of 2024 getting great work experience, in great locations, supporting the world's greatest Navy.

The Human Resources (HR) department at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is seeking a Total Rewards Data Analyst for our 2024 summer internship program! This is an exciting opportunity for students to join our Human Resources team and learn many different areas of the organization. The successful candidate will analyze total rewards data to determine alignment with corporate policies and the Prime contract. The data will be used to identify trends, make recommendations to influence future programs, and plan designs. The areas of study include, but are not limited to, Health & Welfare, Retirement, Wellness, Compensation, Performance Management, and Relocation.

The NNL Internship is an approximate 10-12 week program starting in May/June 2024.
 
An internship position may result in a return internship or full-time employment offer upon successful completion of the program.

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill

Candidates for the HR Total Rewards Data Analyst internship position must be: 
  • Pursuing Human Resources, Business, or related BS, MS or PhD degree from an accredited college or university 
  • Must have completed at least first full year of college by May 2024 
  • Enrolled/continuing in a degree program throughout this internship

Preferred Skills

  • Cumulative minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 
  • Prior related internship, co-op or work experience (paid or volunteer) 
  • Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Defense (DOD) or Naval Nuclear Program experience
