Financial Manager I

If so, then come work with us. The Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation is seeking a Finance Manager I to oversee all accounts payable and receivable duties for the department. The ideal candidate brings financial experience; a service-oriented approach; supervisory experience; and the ability to manage a complex workload with competing priorities. Primary responsibilities include:
- Management and monitor revenue generated at Vermont's State Parks.
- Accounting duties include accounts payable, accounts receivable, internal controls, and audit response.
- Deliver high-quality financial and administrative services in a team environment.
- Assist in budget development, process improvement, and other duties as needed.
This position is a Grade 25 Step 1, at $28.02 per hour, however, there is potential to be hired into a higher step depending on the individual's education and experience.
