ROPES’s Development Coordinator will assist the Executive Director and President in all fundraising and strategic-planning efforts, helping map opportunities with foundations, governments, and philanthropists in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the European Union. The Coordinator will also work with the Director of Programming to develop detailed program proposals for submission to various foundations and government agencies.

Desired Skills/Background:

-Experience in nonprofit fundraising (ideally with Jewish, Middle East, and/or liberal organizations)
-Strong writing and communication skills
-Strong networking and interpersonal skills
-Experience with grant-writing
-Experience with CRM software
-Interest in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict

Location: Israel (Tel Aviv or Jerusalem), London, New York, or Boston

Hours/Week: 40

Start/End Dates: Flexible (June-August)

While this internship is unpaid, ROPES will cover the cost of one-round trip flight to/from the internship location for those not receiving full financial support from their academic program. All travel and other costs associated with the internship will be paid by the organization.
