Join boutique PR Agency working with blue-chip clients in the financial services industry

JOIN OUR TEAM AT THE NEIBART GROUP

Start your communications career as an Assistant Account Executive at TNG

The Neibart Group (TNG) is a communications agency. Our business is expanding and we’re looking for bright and hungry graduates eager to jump into the world of corporate communications.

To be successful in this role, you must start with an interest in storytelling and have a curiosity to learn.

Our agency specializes in serving the financial services sector, and our clients include some of the most recognized and respected names across the industry. You can get a snapshot of our work on the TNG LinkedIn page.

The issues we navigate run both wide and deep. One day you may be communicating about the markets and another it may be student debt or automated advice or a private equity deal. You will learn about investing, the economy, financial planning, and more.

TNG is a boutique agency. For you, that means joining a team where you are close to the client action from day one, and your performance shapes how far and fast you can progress. You want the ball? Show us you can handle it and we will pass it to you.

Our business has grown steadily over the past 20 years because we stay focused on three important principles:

  • Our people are people first. We spend a lot of hours together. It should be a positive and enjoyable experience. Our culture recognizes everyone is an individual, and we understand that we all have lives that don’t stop when we log on each morning. We hold everyone to a high standard, and we expect each person to hold themselves to that standard too. But we also want to make sure our teams can have some fun and let their hair down alongside doing the serious work that we do.
  • If you do good work, clients will follow. Our firm focuses on out-delivering for existing clients, not chasing new business. This approach works. We have grown consistently over the past 20 years…entirely by referral and organic growth.
  • See beyond the end of your desk. We value curiosity and teamwork. We are most successful when every individual sees more than just their to-do list. Deep understanding of our clients is enhanced by reading beyond just the business pages. Great ideas come from collaboration, and consistently exceptional execution demands a team that has each other’s backs.

If TNG sounds like a place where you can see yourself thriving, read on.

Who is our ideal candidate?
You are equal parts analytical and creative; a self-starter and a team player; ambitious but don’t take yourself too seriously; set a high standard and steer clear of office politics; have a curiosity about business and finance but also have interests beyond your career; and have a visibly beating heart.

What will you be doing?
  • Writing: Draft press releases and articles; write social posts and web content; prepare media pitches and compose reporter briefing documents.
  • Media Intelligence: Conduct media research to identify trends and target journalists; evaluate client-generated content for potential media opportunities.
  • Research: Stay on top of news and trends, prepare analyses to support client objectives and understand the business landscape and how it impacts communications decisions.
  • Media relations: Build relationships with reporters; get to know a wide range of media outlets and understand how they cover news and information (national, broadcast, trade press, personal finance, online news, and more); pitch story ideas; share news and manage incoming media inquiries; arrange client interviews.
  • Account Coordination: Support client relationships by attending and contributing to team and client meetings; manage standalone projects; contribute proactive ideas; deliver great client service.
  • Media Monitoring: Review news for client coverage and industry trends; compile reporting metrics
