Internship: Intellectual Property & Development
Funny Or Die is seeking a dynamic, comedy-focused intern to join our team in-person for
2 to 3 days per week. This internship will be primarily focused on supporting Funny Or Die’s IP efforts which aim to identify and secure intellectual property for film and TV adaptations. This is a reading-heavy internship with significant exposure to both the process of adapting IP and broader film / TV development.
Responsibilities:
- Review incoming books, podcasts, journalism, etc. and provide verbal and / or written
- feedback.
- Assist on relevant research projects.
- Support in the tracking & data entry of incoming IP and / or other administrative duties
- Listen, contribute, and take notes on relevant calls / meetings.
- Support initiatives and projects across other departments as needed.
Qualifications
- Avid reader with a dual passion for the world of books and film / TV.
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to proactively contribute to the team’s goals.
- Candidates with a passion for comedic storytelling are preferred.
