Deputy Director of Human Resources – Loudoun County, Virginia

Loudoun County, Virginia, a growing and thriving community of more than 442,000 residents (2023 est.), is seeking a Deputy Director of Human Resources. The Deputy Director will provide key assistance in the oversight of the Human Resources Department, leading and supervising the Assistant Director-Benefits and Risk, Assistant Director-Workforce Staffing, Compensation and Analytics, and the HR Systems Administrator to allow for better strategic planning and alignment and greater coordination, communication, and collaboration across these functional areas and to seek process efficiencies. Equally important, the Deputy Director will serve as a trusted advisor to the organization and represents the department and the Director of Human Resources, as needed. The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree from an accredited college or university in human resources management, business administration, public administration, or a related area with a minimum of five years of related work experience with increasing responsibility and at least three years in a supervisory or management role. The salary range is $160,000 - $190,000.
