Global Computer Systems Support Summer Intern
Position Overview:
- The Unisys Corporate Security & Infrastructure Organization (CSIO) Digital Workplace Operations (DWO) Global
- Computer Systems Support (GCSS) supports a wide variety of applications, tools, and technologies that run the business
- and the GCSS Technician will help support in the successful resolution of service requests.
- The Co-Op will work on the following areas:
- Support End-users globally with specific priority base roles and incidents
- Work closely with our GCSS Senior Leadership Support Team
- Help create content for Knowledge Base Articles and Solutions on SharePoint and ServiceNow sites
As an intern you will additionally:
- Use state-of-the-art Unisys-provided PC, Mac, and mobile device
- Leverage business related software and applications
- Document the role and how it is performed for future CSIO Co-Ops
- Opportunity to support off-site SLT meetings
Key Qualifications
- A Computer Technician Course program (CTC)
- o Computer Technicians certificates (A+ Plus, MS certs)
- o Intern or Co-Op experience desired but not required
- o Any work experience in a computer support role desired but not required
Technical Skills:
- o Exposure to Microsoft Office 365 Suite and Microsoft Office Clients
- o Managing various Windows and macOS issues
- o Exposure to Zoom, Teams, and similar communication platforms
- o Experience with troubleshooting and finding solutions for software and hardware issues
Functional Skills:
- o Excellent verbal communications skills
- o Personable, outgoing, and highly motivated individual
- o Tech savvy, understanding the technology present and future
- o Responsible self-starter who can run with limited oversight and deliver results
- o Flexible in taking on additional responsibilities as things change
- o Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 20 pounds.
- o The position requires walking, stooping, kneeling or crouching into tight spaces
