HRSA Pathways - Office Automation Clerk Student Intern
As a Pathways Student Office Automation Clerk Intern, you will be responsible for performing routine clerical or administrative support duties, such as:
Working under the guidance of administrative personnel in non-routine and progressively responsible duties.
Assisting in the preparation of computer generated reports.
Utilizing automated systems and software applications.
Student Internship program: These positions are being filled under the Pathways-Internship Program, which provides opportunities for high school, vocational and technical, undergraduate, graduate and professional students to gain work experience while pursuing their education.
Position Duration/Expectation: HRSA is seeking qualified student employees to participate in the Pathways Internship Program under indefinite appointments. Appointment is based on continued needs/funds for the position and your continued compliance in the Pathways Intern Program. This is a developmental program while you complete your education.
After successful completion of the program requirements, you may be non-competitively converted to a term position (not to exceed 1-4 years), or a permanent position in the competitive service. However, in some situations a conversion may not be a guarantee.
Work Schedule: You may work a full-time or part-time schedule. Part-time hours are typically 16-32 hours per week. The work schedule will be established so that it does not interfere with the academic schedule during the school year.
