Podcast Production Intern (Summer Full Time)

PODCAST PRODUCTION AT IDEAMIX

All applicants should be prepared to come into our New York City office two to three times a week throughout their summer internship.

This position requires no experience with podcasts beyond the experience of listening to them, and general knowledge of and interest in learning about what goes into podcast production. Interns will participate in and support podcast recording, production, partnerships, guest recruitment, and distribution with a specific focus on production elements right before the release. The overall objective will be to learn and work with the various elements of Ideamix Radio to have a practical, representative experience of working in podcast production. While this is an unpaid internship, we provide a lunch & transportation stipend.

By the end of the internship, interns will learn how to review and schedule podcasts for posting,

This internship commences on May 29th and concludes on August 18th. Interns are expected to work up to 40 hours a week.

The intern will have an opportunity to work closely with the founder of Ideamix, Samhita Jayanti. The founder has extensive career experiences and networks across a range of finance, journalism, and technology and can be helpful in full-time job placement for future career goals.
