Remote WordPress Website and WooCommerce Integration Intern
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist with the development of our WordPress and WooCommerce website. The intern will work remotely under the supervision of our web development team, gaining valuable experience in website design, development, and e-commerce integration.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the design and development of our WordPress website
- Integrate WooCommerce into our existing website, ensuring seamless functionality
- Assist with the development of custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Collaborate with the web development team to identify and troubleshoot technical issues
- Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging trends in website development and e-commerce integration
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in computer science, web development, or a related field
- Experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, and other e-commerce platforms
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with SEO best practices is a plus
Duration: This is a remote, part-time internship that will last for 3-4 months. The intern will be expected to work up to 30 hours per week (as necessary), with a flexible schedule to accommodate their academic and personal commitments.
