Research Associate

About REACH. We are a startup market research company aiming to help the world’s life sciences professionals master any rare disease market, quickly. Our work is a combination of research, data analytics, and storytelling. We are looking to expand our team to help build on and accelerate our early momentum. Our clients include pharmaceutical companies, life sciences consulting firms, and academic institutions.

About the Role. REACH is currently looking for a self-motivated Research Associate with a background in the biological sciences or healthcare. A successful candidate will thrive in our fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment and have the ability to work independently to support a variety of disease market research projects. The role has two broad functions – secondary market research and project execution. This role offers the opportunity for rapid professional growth and to work on diverse projects.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Perform database and literature research to find relevant clinical, scientific, and commercial information.
  • Create data visualizations (e.g., charts, graphics, tables) of curated data and information.
  • Perform quality checks of research deliverables.
  • With supervision, prioritize and manage the execution of assigned projects.
  • Support project managers with ad hoc desk research requests
  • Support the creation of market-facing content (e.g., blogs, newsletter, LinkedIn posts, marketing brochures).

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in the biological sciences or a healthcare-related field
  • 0-1 year of work experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Required Skills and Proficiencies
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and take ownership of work
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Stellar writing skills with the ability to write succinctly
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and visualize data
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven and team-oriented environment
