The Account Manager has the overall responsibility of maintaining existing customers, accounts, and vendor relationships through high levels of customer service, while increasing business opportunities.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  •  Provides quality and efficient service to customers through the daily management of a team of employees to include motivating, recognizing, and rewarding, coaching, counseling, training, and problem solving
  • Responsible for emergency phone rotation as needed
  • Receives, plans, and coordinates project work orders related to facilities maintenance for plumbing, electrical, handyman/general contractor, and HVAC.
  • Oversees progress of work orders from inception to completion.
  • Ensuring expectations are explained fully with following up to make sure they are done correctly
  • Reviews and approves invoices and proposals.
  • Ensures any changes to scope of work are documented and approved.
  • Write ups/Fires- Identifies when termination is needed and the proper way to handle it.
  • Creates PIP’s, performance measurements, measuring goals for team and progress.
  • Follows and teaches emergency guideline protocols
  • Places all documents into the “Account Manager” shared drive making sure that each member of the team is familiar with the files and documents.
  • Uses documents to ensure each team member can identify the protocols
  • Reviews measurements and ensure goals set for the team are met.
  • Prepares/updates project status reports, process invoices, tracking reports, and maintains files for due diligence and financials
  • Work remotely as needed.
  • Actively tracks each aspect of project performance against schedules and critical paths
  • Tracks time and attendance of each employee on team
  • Demonstrates a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Mentors, trains, and leads team to increase productivity and maintain goals
  • Ensures team members are approving their time weekly
  • Assists department in other tasks, and or assignments
