We're seeking UB students to participate in a GSE Summer Literacy Outreach project!
Literacy Tutoring for K-5 Students
Training Dates: June 26-29 from 8:00 AM-1:00 PM on North Campus
Tutoring Dates: July 5-28 (weekdays) from 8:00 AM-1:00 PM at a Buffalo-area school (tutors are responsible for their own transportation)
Pay: $20/hour for all training and tutoring
Overview: As part of this initiative, we will be working with elementary students to deliver in-person, small-group literacy interventions. A background in literacy is not required, as you will be paid to participate in training on the intervention before beginning work with students. As you engage in tutoring for the duration of the program, you will be supported by a university supervisor who will be available as a resource.
