THE ROLE:
Provides operational support for all groups interacting with Retail SMA Operations. Performs oversight functions related to Outsourcing provider and Retail SMA Operations. Assist with Sales Data Management responsibilities which includes various reconciliations and onboarding of new relationships.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Assists with oversight on SMA Outsourcing provider which includes review of daily, weekly, and monthly audit reports as well as quarterly random sampling. Identifies, communicate issues and collaborates with Manager and Outsourcer regarding enhancements to systems or processes to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures throughout the organization.
- Assists with oversight functions related to SMA Operations such as weekly Retail SMA model/clone review, weekly reconciliation for SMA sales data, Model Change rotation reviews and resolution of data checks. Identifies areas to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Assists with implementation of new SMA Model Delivery relationships and ongoing support for AUM and Sales Reporting. Works with internal RPA team to automate creation and distribution of data.
- Provides operational support as it relates to Sales Data Management. These responsibilities include reconciliations, resolution of rejected trades and system updates.
- Reviews SEI SLA Metric reports and error reports to ensure KPIs are met and if not seeks corrective action. In addition, maintains MFS internal KPI/KPRs. Also works with Senior Manager to complete Due Diligence activities.
- Assists team members across other business lines and manager with day-to-day coverage or small projects as requested. Requires cross-training and ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Required:
- 0-2 + years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Personal initiative/problem solving skills/strong attention to detail
Preferred:
- 1-2 years of financial services experience and/or in a trading type environment preferred
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands.
- Ability to work with minimal direction, however, is expected to contribute a team setting.
- Moderate understanding of investment products and investment operations is desired.
- Solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
- Experience with financial software systems, for example Onbase, InvestCloud APL, Xceptor or AARI, is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and exhibit the ability to work effectively under pressure.
