Student Accounts Specialist

Student Accounts Specialist: Mid-Plains Community College is now accepting applications for a Student Accounts & Treasury Management Specialist. Responsibilities include but not limited to: oversight of accounts receivable-student accounts, daily receipting and depositing of payments, collection accounts processing, student payment plans, manage outside scholarships, year-end 1098T processing, and any other business office function. Position also oversees daily banking deposits, positive pay management, fund transfers and bank reconciliations and necessary follow up as well as preparation/review/renewal of college investment portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills and general business knowledge, be experienced in 10-key, computers and technology, strong written and oral communication skills, a high degree of accuracy when processing large volumes of data, ability to work effectively with people, and manage workflow independently. Position will be located in North Platte.

Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business/accounting/bookkeeping preferred as well as preference given to specific banking and large volume accounts receivable management preferred.
