YOUR IMPACT
Are you looking to apply your quantitative skills while deepening your understanding of the Private Wealth Management business? Our Performance team is seeking a professional who is looking to collaborate with other partners in the firm to ensure the accuracy of performance data in the Private Wealth Management systems and provide subject matter expertise on performance methodology. 

OUR IMPACT
Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and control to preserve and enhance the firm’s assets and its reputation. For every trade agreed, every new product launched or market entered, every transaction completed, it is Operations that develops the processes and controls that makes business flow.

THE TEAM
The Performance team works closely with Private Wealth Management Business, Compliance, Technology, and other Operations teams globally to maintain performance data.  
The team is responsible for ensuring performance figures are accurate and implementing solutions to correct returns when necessary. 
Additionally, team members are the primary point of contact for global PWM performance questions.
 
Core Tasks:
In this job, employees:
  • Prepare to gain a comprehensive understanding of various performance methodologies and calculations in the PWM systems, including time-weighted return, internal rate of return and investment result performance reporting
  • Apply your quantitative skills as you conduct root cause analysis and drive resolution for performance return discrepancies
  • Showcase your client service skills as you partner with PWM Business to ensure client’s performance needs are being met in a timely and satisfactory manner
  • Leverage your risk-management skills to successfully adhere to current controls while identifying areas where additional controls could be put in place

Qualifications:
General Skills and Abilities
  • Analytical and problem solving ability to perform data quality checks, identify problems, and troubleshoot root causes
  • Quantitative skills to understand complex calculations such as time weighted and internal rates of return
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize accordingly
  • Ability to work independently and as a self-starter, as appropriate
  • Strong control focus and attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data

Digital/Technical Skills & Tools
Successful employees use the following:
  • Basic to Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Excel (ability to learn functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, etc.)
  • Basic skill level with Microsoft Word
  • Basic skill level with Microsoft Powerpoint

Education/Knowledge
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, finance, math, management, information systems, business intelligence, or related field

Experience (Professional, Academic, Personal)
  • Experience within an office environment is a nice to have but is not required
