Summary of Responsibilities: General knowledge of basic accounting concepts is required. A desire to work in the professional services field. Work closely with senior, supervisor and manager levels. Accuracy and efficiency in performing tasks and following instructions is required.

Job Functions:
·        Trace and vouch entries to original documents or sources.
·        Assist in the observation and counting of inventories.
·        Prepare tax returns; Individuals, Partnerships and Corporations
·        Assist in the preparation and mailing of confirmation requests.
·        Post and extend adjustments to working trial balance.
·        Schedule changes in property and equipment, and calculate depreciation and amortization
·        Create detailed workpapers that support the accounting or tax work to be done
·        Reconcile subsidiary accounts to control accounts.
·        Schedule computations of accrued expenses.
·        Assist in proofing financial statements.
·        Perform other accounting, auditing and tax assignments as needed and as assigned by supervisory personnel.
·        Prepare acceptable working papers that record and summarize data on the assigned audit.
·        Explain findings and solutions promptly and effectively
·        Miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Qualifications:
- A graduate degree in accounting or 150 credits to sit for the CPA Exam
