Prevention Workforce- US Air Force Palace Acquire

The position provides assistance to specialists addressing integrated primary prevention activities to effectively prevent negative outcomes associated with sexual assault and harassment, family violence (e.g., intimate partner violence and child abuse and neglect), workplace violence (e.g., harassment, bullying and hazing), suicide, and alcohol abuse/misuse prevention,
hereafter referred to as self-directed harm and prohibited abuse or harmful acts.
This is a GS-07 position with development through the GS-09 level to the full performance level of GS-11. Selected individuals will receive formal, informal, and/or on-the-job training in the Primary Prevention field, and assignments will become progressively more difficult in nature.

QUALIFICATIONS & ELIGIBILITY
• U.S. citizenship required
• Recent graduate (within two years of completing degree)
or full-time undergraduate/graduate student enrolled in
an accredited college or university graduating during
current semester
• BA/MA in Social Services such as Psychology, Social Work/
Sociology, Human Development, Counseling, Social Sciences,
Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling, or related fields
• GPA 2.95 or above
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance (funded by USAF)
