Child Development Specialist- US Air Force Palace Acquire

We’re seeking recent undergraduates and graduate students
for Child and Youth Program Management and Force Support
training through AFCS’s Palace Acquire Internship Program.
The Air Force Child and Youth Program’s mission is to offer
quality, safe, and affordable Child Development, Family Child
Care, and Youth Programs for Air Force active-duty service
members, civilian airmen, and their families.
As an intern, you’ll work shoulder to shoulder with current
Child and Youth Development Managers on challenging and
rewarding projects, where you’ll make real contributions
while gaining invaluable real-world experience.
Child Development Intern
As a Child Development Intern, you’ll help the Child
Development Center Director, Community Child Care
Coordinator, and Training and Curriculum Specialists
develop, administer, and evaluate developmental and
educational activities for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age,
as well as develop training material for staff.
QUALIFICATIONS & ELIGIBILITY
• U.S. citizenship required
• Recent graduate (within two years of completing degree)
or full-time undergraduate/graduate student enrolled in
an accredited college or university graduating during
current semester
• BA/MA in Early Childhood/Child Development or related fields
with at least 24 hours of early childhood or child development
• GPA 2.95 or above
• Ability to obtain a favorable National Agency Check
(funded by USAF)
