About the Impact Associate Role:
The Basics:
- This role is on the Economic Mobility Team team
- You'll be reporting to TBD
- The pay is expected to be $30/hour
- The key function(s) of this role call for Client Services, Research,
- The anticipated time commitment is Flexible, anticipated 30-40 hours/week hours per week
- The location of this role is Remote
- The work hours are: Mostly can be done on your own time, apart from certain meetings
- They are hoping to hire someone by June 1, 2024
- The end date is: For the duration of summer, with the potential for an extension if there is mutual interest
What You'll Achieve:
- This opportunity is exclusively for grad students (MBA, MPP, MPAs in particular)
- We are looking for motivated, persistent, bright, and curious individuals to work with us on some exciting projects addressing issues of economic mobility. Work will vary over time, but will likely include:
- Contribution to setting a large foundation’s program strategy founded in evidence & empathy
- Research and synthesis on how programs, technology or policy are shaping social mobility
- Developing and implementing ways to incorporate an equity lens and the voices of individuals with
- lived experience into grantmaking
- Other analysis and operations support as needed

- Qualitative research and surveying
- Project management

- No consulting experience is required! We are looking particularly for individuals who have the ability to overcome barriers and take ownership of key research questions, a growth mindset to learn new things, and an ability to effectively synthesize and communicate key insights to the team.
