Private Equity Intern

The Berkshire Partners Private Equity Internship was created with our purpose in mind and is designed to provide career opportunities for traditionally underrepresented backgrounds in private equity including but not limited to Women, Black, Latinx, Native American, LGBTQ+, First-Generation Status, and/or ROTC or Dependents of Military Veterans candidates who are currently in their sophomore year of college pursuing an undergraduate degree. 

 

 

Position Summary

Berkshire Partners, a Boston-based private equity investment firm with more than $20Bn of assets under management and currently investing out of its $5.8Bn Fund X, is seeking to hire an intern for July 8 – August 16, 2024, working in the firm’s Private Equity business. Over the course of 6 weeks, interns will gain hands-on deal experience, assisting our investment team in evaluating new investment opportunities, researching industries and market sub-sectors, and working with existing portfolio companies on strategic initiatives and projects, including the sourcing, diligence, and execution of add-on acquisitions. Interns will work closely with investment team members from Associate through Managing Director and will generally be involved in day-to-day activities and responsibilities of an Associate at our firm.
