Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking two talented and innovative Interns to join our Animal Health - Controlling department located at our Duluth, Georgia facility. As an Intern, you will experience the world of corporate finance in a fast-paced leading global Animal Health organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

•    Provide support to Controlling Team for Budget/Long Term Forecast (LTF) Process – development, review & analysis, and presentation development
•    Participate in budget development across revenue, expenses, and costs
•    Assist in building financial reporting including ways to represent complex financial data in simple visual formats
•    Support data entry into BI systems
•    Provide commentary in presentations and systems as needed for key messages and explanations of data
•    Assist with timely, transparent, right-first-time, management reporting and analysis related to financial performance for month-end reporting
•    Other ad-hoc  reporting as requested especially for LTF/other check-ins
•    Provide support as requested to controlling team 
•    Lead improvement projects to support the controlling teams across functions and locations.

Requirements

  • Must be a current advanced degree (MBA, PhD etc.) student in good academic standing
  • Student must be enrolled at a college or university for the duration of the internship
  • Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred
  • Major or minor in related field of internship
  • Graduate and Advanced Degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel & PowerPoint
  • Onsite/Flex*: This position is site based with flexibility for remote working. Working onsite a minimum of 2-3 days per week is required. Remote working norms will be clarified during the interview process.

Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities:

  • Having pharmaceuticals/animal health and/or corporate finance experience a plus but not mandatory
  • Good organizational, communication and planning skills with effective time management
  • Ability to work under pressure, make good decisions and to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage business partner relations and expectations
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of SAP a plus

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
