Customer Facing Excellence Intern

Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Intern to join our Customer Facing Excellence team in our US Animal Health Commercial Excellence department located at our Duluth, GA office. The Customer Facing Excellence team is committed to cultivating efficiency, effectiveness, and excellence in all of our customer facing channels. As an Intern, you will have meaningful assignments that contribute to areas such as Field Force Effectiveness, Training and Development, Incentive Compensation and Territory Alignments and Digital Channel Excellence.  You will collaborate with teams across Commercial Excellence, Marketing, Sales, IT, Customer Care and more on important initiatives that enable our Field Sales and Marketing teams to create exceptional customer experiences. You will be accountable for a specific set of initiatives or project deliverables that will be determined based on a combination of priority business needs at the time and your unique skillset and interests.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partner with Customer Facing Excellence (CFE) colleagues to mature CFE capabilities and advance projects/initiatives.
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities, roadmap development, and recommend core capabilities required to enable customer facing teams to drive commercial success.
  • Provide internal consultancy, change management, training, and championing of best practices.
  • Lead assigned initiatives that expand our capabilities, defining the plan and objectives, prioritizing deliverables, and ensuring successful execution.
  • Review current capabilities, business processes, and data to recommend updates to strategy, tactics, business processes or systems accordingly.

Requirements

  • Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing
  • Student must be enrolled at a college or university for the duration of the internship
  • Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred
  • Major or minor in related field of internship
  • Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university
  • Graduate and Advanced Degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university
  • Onsite/Flex*: This position is site based with flexibility for remote working. Working onsite a minimum of 2-3 days per week is required. Remote working norms will be clarified during the interview process.

  • Project management skills, gathering requirements, creating plans, defining scope and translating business needs into technical specifications and coordinating execution (preferred)

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
