Program Manager - CAT Team

Lakeview Center provides comprehensive behavioral health care to adults and children with mental illnesses, drug and alcohol dependencies and intellectual disabilities. Our Community Action Team (CAT) serves children in homes, schools and daycare settings to help lower the risk of hospitalization, reduce contact with law enforcement and improve functioning within the home, school and community settings. The goal is to help the child/adolescent and family become successful in the environment where they live, preventing the need for residential treatment.

CAT services are provided in a supportive and interactive manner and directed toward maintaining or restoring positive family relationships. The program provides services such as: family and individual therapy, Wraparound team management, parent coaching, therapeutic mentoring, and nursing.

In Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties, CAT serves adolescents ages 6 to 21.

Overview

Primary duty is the performance of work requiring advanced knowledge (Master’s Degree) in the field of Human Services, and to use such advanced knowledge to consistently exercise discretion and independent judgment in providing oversight for the provision of the highest quality client-centered therapeutic services. Must also use such advanced knowledge to serve as leader and supervisor to Licensed Level, Master level, Bachelor Level Direct Care employees and Behavioral Technicians, among other staff. This position is entrusted with a high level of responsibility and insight in overseeing the treatment of clients and ensuring services are provided and documented in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, in addition to LCI and division standards. Based on the knowledge and degree required, this position will serve as a lead position in the provision of direct care.


Therapeutic services include but are not limited to, providing oversight and direction of assessment, treatment planning, direct service provision, person centered services and management of client risk and safety.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, rehabilitation, or a related human services field (a related human services field is one in which major course work includes the study of human behavior and development).
  • Licensed as a LCSW, LMHC, LMFT or Psychologist in the state of Florida.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience working with children, adults, and families who have mental health, substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities.
  • One (1) year supervisory experience.
  • Prefer individuals certified through the Florida Certification Board as an Addiction Professional.
  • Must be able to provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring services to meet the needs of individuals served and their families.
  • Must be able to use a computer.
  • Must be able to travel locally to clients’ homes, training locations and other locations as necessary.
  • Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license from the state in which you reside, a good driving record and be insurable under the corporate policy.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $65,520 to $73,102 per year.  Salary is based on experience.
