ABS Global-Supply Chain Barn Interns

*Paid with $2,000 relocation allowance offered if needed. Two in-person all expenses paid events at company headquarters for North American Intern Program learning and development

Overall Responsibilities: 

 

The Supply Chain-Barn  interns will rotate through various Supply Chain departments to gain insight into the Supply Chain workflow and get firsthand exposure of everything that goes into safe and ethical livestock handling within a global company within our new advanced facilities.  

 

 

Specific Accountabilities: 

Responsibilities include providing excellent care and maintenance of the bull population, providing upkeep and security of the facilities; and assisting with the treatment of bulls as directed by our Veterinary staff. Additionally, the interns will work within a team, learn and assist in the processing, packaging and quality control of bovine semen. Interns will also have the opportunity to assist in receiving, warehousing and shipment of products. 

Qualifications and Experience: 

Location(s): ABS Headquarters, LEEDS & DeKorra facilities 

Large animal experience required  

Current High School graduate or enrolled as a sophomore, junior, senior or recent graduate at an accredited two year or four-year college or university. 

Valid driver’s license
