UGA Data Analyst

Position Summary: 

The Data Analyst, reporting to the Associate Director of Business Analytics, is responsible for delivering business analytics solutions that advance and support the mission of the Division of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR). This includes working with BIA leadership and key stakeholders across the divisions to identify and deliver key projects, creating and maintaining analytic dashboards and custom data models, managing data sources and data validation, and participating in/leading projects related to data analytics and data engineering. The focus is on delivering valuable insights and decision-making support to the division through effective data management and analysis.

The Division of Development and Alumni Relations at the University of Georgia advances the goals, objectives, and priorities of the university by generating private financial support, building, and maintaining relationships with alumni and donors, and assisting students with career development opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field.  Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • B.S. in Business, Computer Science, Analytics, or another quantitative discipline
  • Exhibits behavior that supports the mission, vision, and values of the University of Georgia
