Communication Specialist (Remote)

Position Summary
As a Communications Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our
clients' communication strategies. You will provide key messages and identify critical
communication activities necessary to inform on and promote the use and adoption of
acquisition management enterprise architecture by various stakeholders across the VA.
 

Position Responsibilities
•Research and conduct meetings with stakeholders to finalize the communications plan
•Develop timeline to execute the communications plan
•Identify the appropriate medium and vehicles of communication to the stakeholders
•Develop communications tools/templates and draft messaging
•Develop communication activities to inform and engage identified stakeholder groups
frequently and broadly at all levels to drive awareness, understanding and adoption
•Deliver communications strategically and proactively with the utilization of the ADKAR
Methodology
•Develop metrics aligned to goals/objectives and commitment curve
•Analyze and provide recommendations for feedback received from stakeholders
•Evaluate the impact and outcomes of the communications
•Perform other duties as required
 

Position Skills & Qualifications
• Must be a US Citizen with an active Public Trust security clearance
• 1-3 years of project management consulting experience
• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university.
• Experience with creating communication plans and campaigns
• Experience with strategic planning and client workshop facilitation; understand the needs of the
organization and how a change can meet them
• Strong core consulting skills, including: excellent communication, writing, analysis and
presentation (PowerPoint, Excel)
• Strong attention to detail, executive presence, and experience in a client-facing environment
