Regulatory Affairs Pharma Intern

Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health is seeking a talented and innovative intern to join the US Regulatory Affairs Pharmaceuticals team in the Summer of 2024, at either our Duluth, GA US headquarters, or the Athens, GA research center, or at our facility in St Joseph, Missouri. As an intern, you will learn about the animal health regulatory requirements for FDA and EPA regulated products through interactions with the team members as you develop a training and resource library as well as by performing responsibilities required to support our development and compliance objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Produce a training manual/library structure for the US RA Pharma team to be used for onboarding as well as cross functional training through compilation of existing materials and generation of summary and organizational documentation.
  • Support team activities involving cross-functional trainings/sharings (Knowledge Through Experience and Regulatory Discussions) by producing presentation materials for these activities.
  • Develop a basic skill knowledge of regulatory requirements by participating in team deliverables.

 

Requirements

  • Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing
  • Student must be enrolled at a college or university for the duration of the internship
  • Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred
  • Major or minor in related field of internship
  • Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university
  • Graduate and advanced degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university

 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

 

Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities

  • Major or minor in a scientific field with a strong interest in working in the animal health product development environment
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Power Point, Word, MS Teams
  • Strong organization skills
  • Team player who desires to collaborate with regulatory and cross functional team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
