Cloud Operations Communications Specialist

We’re searching for a Cloud Operations Communications Specialist to join our team and help take our client-focused services to new heights. 

What You’ll Do:

Responsibilities may vary, but general job duties include: 

  • Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights language that sets our users up for success.
  • Write stories about how and why Cloud Ops technology works.
  • Write procedural documentation for Cloud Operations functions and evaluate current content to develop innovative approaches for improvement.
  • Compile and analyze usage analytics and success metrics.

What You’ll Bring: (Objective Minimum Qualifications)

To be considered for a Cloud Operations Communications Specialist position in the NetSuite organization, you must possess the Objective Minimum Qualifications (OMQs) below. Please ensure that your application clearly indicates that you meet these OMQs, either on your resume and/or by uploading additional documents such as a transcript. 

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Technical Writing, Journalism, or an equivalent field by August 2024. [The earliest start date is June 2024]
  • Have graduated no more than 12 months before the summer 2024 start date.
  • Have no more than 12 months of professional full-time work experience (excluding internships, research and/or teaching assistant roles, and military experience).
  • Reside in the United States and/or attend a university in the US.
  • Able to acquire work authorization in the US in 2024.
  • Possess a natural interest in storytelling, training, and user experience.
  • Must be able to write well and connect strongly with customers through writing.
  • Understand accurate rhetorical research approach to use according to audience.
  • Demonstrate an ability to articulate why someone would want to use a technology or perform a task through writing.
  • Curiosity, bravery, personal energy, and positive attitude

Other Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical knowledge with databases and cloud technology.
  • Experience with usage analytics.
  • Experience with page design and/or graphic design.

Qualifications

Hiring Range: from $21.59 to $48.08 per hour; from $44,900 to $100,000 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
