Job Title: Computer Technician / IT Consultant / Helpdesk Support (Bloomfield, NJ - NYC Area)

Salary: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour (Starting rate)

About the Position:

As a computer technician/IT consultant, you will be responsible for managing technical and cybersecurity requirements for our clients. You will work with clients and provide them with support for their PC and network systems. This position interfaces with all levels including Executive. Primary responsibilities include:

• Providing exceptional customer service by being highly communicative and responsive.
• Diagnosing and resolving problems related to availability, security, performance, connectivity, and overall functionality. This includes routers, network switches, servers, Multifunction copiers and VOIP.
• Working with a variety of businesses to support IT systems based on all Microsoft platforms, including the latest Windows workstation/server operating systems, O365 including Azure AD.
• Performing new workstation set-ups, replacements, and data migrations.

Requirements:

• High levels of interpersonal communications and organization skills, flexibility, and willingness to adapt to change, and a desire to grow both personally and professionally.
• At least four years plus providing PC and network systems implementation and support, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Microsoft Windows Server experience with a high-level understanding of Active Directory design and implementation including group policy and networking services (DNS, DHCP, etc).
• Must be able and willing to travel onsite to our clients as needed.
• Financial sector experience is preferred.
