POSITION SUMMARY:
Amtrak Guest Rewards, the loyalty program for Amtrak, is seeking a Summer 2024 intern. Amtrak Guest Rewards is responsible for acquiring new members and creating meaningful engagement opportunities for existing members through promotions, partnerships, and credit card offerings. Additionally, the team manages CRM executions for member and company marketing activities.


This internship will expose the individual to aspects of Amtrak’s loyalty marketing, partnerships, program management, email/CRM, and agency relationship management.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•    Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently
•    Assist with member acquisition and member engagement campaigns
•    Help manage partner and Co-Branded credit card marketing initiatives 
•    Collaborate on email marketing activities and reporting

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field at an accredited educational institution
•    Completed at least 1 year of academic undergraduate studies or have sophomore status at minimum. 
•    Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Adobe

 

COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

 

The hourly range is $17.50 per hour - $35.00 per hour. Pay is based on factors including school year, program of study, etc.  In addition paid internships include Amtrak rail pass privileges as a part of the experience along with one (1) PTO day per academic year.

 

Please be advised that the Summer 2024 internship program will run from May 20th - August 9th.
