Recreation Advisor

Recreation Advisor Responsible for the implementation of a diverse program ensuring compliance with the recreation schedule, within the Art’s & Crafts Room.

·       Job Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)

·       Base pay: $17/hour

·       Schedule: Monday & Tuesday off, Wednesday -Sunday 3p-12am

·       Minimum education requirements: High School Diploma or GED

·       Covid considerations: Must be fully vaccinated & wear a face mask

·       Key responsibilities:

§ Take co-ownership over the Art’s & Crafts Room in it’s appearance, supplies, programming and functionality

§ Develop high-quality and diverse activities for the students to participate in.

§ Contacting vendors as needed for special events/activities.

§ Conducting research and requesting the supplies needed for the activities/events.

§ Creating flyers and marketing strategies to encourage the students to participate in your programming.

§ Meeting the pre-set participation goals for each program/activity.

§ Monitor the students to ensure the center rules and policies are being followed

§ Mentor students and assist them in thinking through situations

§ Support other Rec areas as needed
