Position Overview

Carousel’s Enrollment and Strategic Outreach Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Carousel programs—local and across the country, in-person and online—through family engagement and the cultivation of school partnerships. You’ll ensure the successful enrollment of children into our early childhood foreign language program and spearhead strategic outreach initiatives to build fruitful school partnerships.

Key responsibilities:

1. Family Engagement and Registration Management

  • Manage enrollment using Jackrabbit Class Management software
  • Provide guidance and support to families throughout the enrollment and scheduling process, addressing their questions and concerns.
  • Collaborate closely with Carousel’s foreign language teachers to ensure a smooth transition for enrolled children.

2. Strategic Outreach

  • Create a strategic outreach plan to increase enrollment and community engagement.
  • Research, identify, and build relationships with potential partner schools, districts, community organizations, and early childhood centers (nursery, daycare, pre-k).
  • Organize and participate in community events, fairs, and workshops to raise awareness about the importance of early childhood foreign language education and Carousel’s unique programs.
  • Curriculum and online program sales: Connect with school/program leadership to identify specific opportunities to build a custom foreign language program or support their organization’s existing curriculum with CTS®.

3. Data Management and Analysis:

  • Track and analyze enrollment data, attendance, and feedback to make informed decisions and adjustments to outreach strategies.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of various outreach initiatives.
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose recommendations to the management team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Linguistics, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven success in preschool registration, admissions, or enrollment management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Our workplace atmosphere is equally professional and warm/familial.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and sales abilities.
  • Knowledge of registration software, particularly Jack Rabbit Class
  • Passion for early childhood foreign language learning; commitment to educating families, schools, and the community about its importance and promoting Carousel’s programs.
  • Thorough understanding of key principles of early childhood education; knowledge of pertinent research; fluency in the benefits of early childhood language learning.

Job Description:

  • Full time, in-person in New York City
  • This role reports directly to the Founder & CEO and Program Director
  • We close for federal holidays as well as one week for Thanksgiving, one week for Spring Break, two weeks for winter holidays, and two weeks for summer vacation.

Compensation

  • Base Salary of $65k with considerations for experience level.
  • Possibility of commission after a two month probation period.
