Accounting & Advisory Associate 2024 - Brewster, MA

Our Accounting & Advisory practice is growing and looking for a professional to join our team as an Associate. At Mazars, we pride ourselves on building long-lasting relationships with our teams, clients, and the community. 

 

This position will be aligned to our Brewster, MA office. 

 

Start Date: September 9, 2024 

 

What You Will Do:  

Perform bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of small to large international businesses (A/P, A/R, bank transactions, payroll entries, month end journals) 

Prepare management accounts 

Prepare year-end accounts 

Act as Client liaison and communicate directly with clients as part of bookkeeping and accounts preparation process 

Prepare tax and financial projections 

Prepare corporate, payroll and sales tax returns (including general ledger analysis and tax closings) 

Build and maintain client relationships focused on excellent client service 

Engage in internal initiatives and training 

 

What We Seek:  

Education required: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting with strong academic credentials (Minimum GPA of 3.0) 

Certification requirement: Eligible to sit for the CPA exam; Undergraduate or graduate degree/ Meet all educational requirements to satisfy the 150-credit hour requirement necessary for the CPA license in the state in which your office will be located. 

Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills 

Demonstrated focus on client deadlines and providing excellent client service 

Proficiency in CCH Axcess Tax, BNA and ProSystem Engagement is a plus 

Knowledge of QuickBooks Online, Xero, SAP or NetSuite is a plus 

Speak French or another foreign language is a plus 

Ability to travel to client locations as needed

The salary range for this role takes into account many factors including, but not limited to, years and type of experience, skill sets, and certifications. The projected salary range for this position is $72,000 - $80,000.
