Bus Monitors (IMMEDIATE OPENINGS)

We have immediate openings for Bus Monitors at our elementary school, Match Community Day, located on 100 Poydras St. in Hyde Park. Bus Monitors help ensure the safety of students during the rides to and from school each day. Compensation is $30 per bus ride.

Responsibilities:

  • Arrive on time at the first pick-up stop in Boston in the morning each day (we can share more information about the pick-up spot during the interview process), and ride  the bus to school;
  • Arrive at Match Community Day at 4:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and at 12 p.m. on Fridays for dismissal, and ride the bus taking students home;
  • Monitor the safety, attendance, and behavior of students on the bus; and
  • Help resolve any issues that arise on the bus

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience working with children
