Electrical Analyst

Education/Years of Experience:  Bachelor's Degree in a technical, science, or business discipline from an accredited college/university and three (3) years of experience in one of the following areas, as related to the respective job:  Communication, Logistics, Operations, Finance, Personne/Human Resource Management, Program Management, Process Improvement, Safety, Security, and Environmental specialties; or an Associate's Degree and five (5) years of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area; or seven (7) years of experience performing the  job duties in the assigned area; or seven (7) years of military training in the assigned specialty area, or a combination thereof.  Additional specialization requirements:  two (2) years of the required experience must include experience coordinating projects; collecting data, reviewing technical documents compiling statistics and data for projects; writing narratives, managing the execution of inspection programs, creating, monitoring, and maintaining audit files for program compliance.

 

Required Qualifications:  U.S. Citizen.  Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.  

 

Skills Needed:  Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office software. 

 

Duties:  The technical analyst position supports the analysis and presentation of data collected during testing on aviation and ground platforms, support equipment, and weapon systems.  Duties include data analysis, technical writing and editing of documentation. Also, detailed data analysis of plots, graphs, technical specifications, test technicians, and the documentation team to ensure all aspects of testing is captured and analyzed for completeness.  Receives and interprets technical direction from test engineers or subject matter experts, notes or manuals, and other data relative to test procedures.  Ensures technical standards for quality of technical content, graphics, coverage, format, and style.  Prefer the ability to accesses, stores, and distribute CLASSIFIED/SECRET/Proprietary information.  Assist engineers with documentation requirements requiring the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.  Apply knowledge of test procedures, military standards (MIL-STDs), military specifications (MIL-SPECs), military performance specifications (MIL-PRFs), etc. as well as aerospace and other relevant standards in order to produce technically oriented documentation for that meet technical writing principles and Redstone Test Center (RTC) standards.

 

Desired Qualifications:  Prefer Zero (0) to five (5) years of developing plans, budgets, schedules, and customer support agreements to meet project requirements; providing project status with regard to funding, schedule, and milestones; providing comparative analysis for budget and actual costs; validating costs; comparing performance against plans; and reporting, analyzing and interpreting financial data from multiple sources.  Professional organizational and communications skills.
