Teen Center Assistant Position
 

Essex CHIPS is looking for a Teen Center Assistant.  We are a nonprofit located at the Five Corners in Essex Junction and offer a free after school program to youth who live within the Essex Westford School District.  Our Tween Center operates on Monday and Wednesday and serves 4-5th graders.  Our Teen Center operates on Tuesday and Thursday and serves 6-9th graders.  Our schedule is: Monday 2:15pm-6pm, Tuesday 3:15pm-6:00pm, Wednesday 1:15pm-5:45pm and Thursday 3:15pm-6:00pm. We will work with job candidates' schedules if they are not available every day (and will consider one day a week for scheduling too). 


Summary of Position: This is a part-time non-exempt position, which requires appropriate professional youth work skills, creativity, punctuality, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate, engage and collaborate with Elementary and Middle School students, family members and fellow staff members.  Background check required. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required.  Compensation is $16-19/hour.
