Job Summary:

Pratt & Whitney’s 30K / 24K Production Chief organization is seeking highly motivated, adaptable employees to join our team for summer 2024 Internships.  The team actively supports Pratt & Whitney’s growth products engaging in a collaborative work environment to meet and exceed our customers' expectations. In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Airbus through our Joint Improvement plan with engineering requirements, supply chain management and critical part recovery efforts. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Critical material status reports (i.e. Heatmap) process (integrate build plan updates, reporting, ad-hoc).
  • Coordination with Global Network Operations and Command Center regarding Critical Parts List updates.
  • Support engineering processes & facilitate critical incorporation of changes.
  • Focus on automation/increase in efficiency of existing processes/tools.
  • Support automation of heat map and critical part reporting.
  • Early warning tool to identify material shortages.
  • Airbus reporting and Joint Improvement Plan support.
  • IQR (Industrial Quarterly Review) data gathering / planning.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a degree program in engineering, supply chain management or business management.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to derive insights from detailed analysis of complex data.
  • Strong leader and team player.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite tools.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.
